Fly Through Space In Straylight When It Comes To VR Later This Year

Developed by Dr Bloc, Straylight, the upcoming VR space platformer, has received a release date of later this year for Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift, PlayStation VR and  HTC Vive.

Straylight is an upcoming VR game that sees you fling your way through the cosmos. It has been in Steam Early Access since February 2020 and received favorable reviews on that platform. It even went on to be voted “Best in Show” and “People’s Choice: Best Digital” at Ohayocon 2020. Daniel Seery, co-founder of Dr Bloc, spoke about their ambition to create a sense of immersion as the player flings through space.

“We want players to find an incredible feeling of flow in Straylight, which starts by solving how to do totally comfortable movement in VR […] VR is about total immersion, and the Straylight unlocks it, allowing as many as possible to feel the thrill of propelling through space and attempt the hardcore platforming challenges waiting among the stars.”
