Star Wars Republic Commando, the fan favourite first-person-shooter is being ported by Aspyr this April for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
When I was younger, my siblings and I played a lot of Star Wars Republic Commando. Unfortunately, as we were only bairns, we never got passed the first few missions out of pure fear. Well, now that Aspyr, the folks behind Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy and Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, are bringing it to the Switch and PlayStation 4, I may finally be able to complete it!
What Is Star Wars Republic Commando?
It is a squad-based first-person-shooter from 2005. Focusing on a team of elite Republic Commandos known as Delta Squad, you must navigate the harrowing Clone Wars and complete your assigned missions with absolute caution. Here’s what you can expect:
- Experience an epic 9-hour single-player campaign through the Star Wars world
- Work together with your squad, Boss, Fixer, Scorch and Sev. Perform complex commands to get through each mission safely
