Princess Peach: Showtime!: When Is the Review Embargo?

Princess Peach: Showtime! is right around the corner, and fans waiting for reviews before picking it up can rest assured that the review embargo is almost up.

It’s going to be difficult for players to decide what to pick up on March 22. There’s the epic fantasy Dragon’s Dogma 2, the challenging Rise of the Ronin, and, of course, Princess Peach: Showtime! For many, then, the ultimate decider will be the reviews. However, players will need to wait for review embargos to drop first. Fortunately, Princess Peach: Showtime!’s review embargo is dropping very soon.

When Does the Princess Peach: Showtime! Review Embargo Drop?

The Princess Peach: Showtime review embargo will drop on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 4 am PT/7 am ET/11 am GMT/10 pm AEDT. This is just 1 day before the game’s official release date of March 22, 2024. Of course, if you were hoping to wait for reviews before pre-ordering, this doesn’t give you much time. Fortunately, there’s a demo available right now that gives you a good chunk of the game to play.

It’s important to note that this is not an official date. Rather, it is based on typical review embargo patterns for Nintendo as well as information from Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming. Nintendo games typically have their review embargos dropped a day or two before their release. This was the case with Tears of the Kingdom, which had its reviews drop on May 11, a day before its release on the 12th. Similarly, the recent Mario vs. Donkey Kong had its reviews drop on February 14, two days before its release on the 16th.
