Fans have been hotly anticipating a new Pokemon Legends game for some time. The spin-off game that debuted back in 2022 proved to be an instant success thanks to its innovations on the Pokemon formula. Fortunately, during the February 27 Pokemon Presents showcase, fans were treated to a look at the next Pokemon Legends game. Pokemon Legends Z-A Release Date

Pokemon Legends Z-A will be released in 2025. Unfortunately, no specific release date has been announced for the game beyond this date. It’s likely that it will be officially announced during a future Pokemon Presents of Nintendo Direct, closer to the release date.

It’s worth noting that Pokemon Legends Arceus was released in January 2022 after being announced in February 2021. It is possible then that this new Pokemon Legends game could be released in January 2025.

Pokemon Legends Z-A Gameplay and Trailer

While no specific gameplay details for Pokemon Legends Z-A have been announced, we do know that the game will be centered around Lumiose City in the Kalos region, which is from the Pokemon X and Y games. The game will likely centre around the construction of Lumiose City, as the initial reveal trailer showcases the Urban Redevelopment Plan of the city. You can check out a trailer for the game below:

Pokemon Legends Z-A Platforms

Pokemon Legends Z-A will be released for the Nintendo Switch. However, considering it’s releasing in 2025, it is possible that it could also be released for the Nintendo Switch 2. However, there is no confirmation of this, so players shouldn’t expect it to be released on whatever the successor to the Nintendo Switch will be.
