The 2023 Pokemon Go World Championships Celebration event has arrived in Pokemon Go, bringing a freshly-dressed Pikachu, and new research tasks.

The event runs from August 11 to August 15, so players have a few days to make sure they grab all the available rewards. Most notably, the limited-time Pikachu.

When Does The 2023 Pokemon World Championships Event End in Pokemon Go?

The 2023 Pokemon World Championships is taking place over the weekend in Yokohama, Japan. Fortunately, the Pokemon Go event is providing players with a little bit more time to get the challenges completed.

The event began on Friday, August 11, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. and will end on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time. The event also introduces Passimian for the first time in Pokemon Go, and you can catch the Pokemon by winning a 3-Star Passimian Raid or completing a specific 2023 World Championships Field Research Task.
