Palworld: Is it Coming to PlayStation?

PlayStation fans hoping to play Palworld may be wondering how long they’ll have to wait. Here’s what you need to know.

Palworld has gotten the gaming world excited with its hybrid of cute Pokemon-esque gameplay and third-person shooting. It has generated so much hype it’s making players want to turn their PlayStation into a Palstation. Of course, to do this, they’ll need the game to actually launch on the PS4 and PS5. However, so far, only Xbox and Steam have been announced as platforms. So, is Palworld coming to PlayStation?

Is Palworld Coming to PlayStation?

Yes, Palworld might be coming to PlayStation eventually. However, it will not be on PlayStation 4 or 5 at launch. The developers have mentioned, via a Steam FAQ, that during the Early Access development phase, they will consider porting the game to PS5. Fans should not expect to see it come to PlayStation 5 anytime soon, as according to the game’s Steam store listing, there is no fixed estimate on when Early Access development will end.

In the FAQ, when answering the question, “Will Palworld be coming to PS5?” the developers responded, “We don’t have plans for this at the moment, but will consider it during development!” Craftopia, the developer’s other game, was released in 2020 and has seen a port to Xbox. However, that game has still not made its way to PlayStation and remains in Early Access.
