Players attempting to join a world in Palworld are being faced with the “Session Search Error” message. Here’s how to fix it.
If you’ve played Palworld for any amount of time, you’ve likely come across one or more of its errors. It’s understandable that there will be a few, considering it’s still in Early Access. Unfortunately, it does mean that, on occasion, players are still unable to access the game. This is the case with Palworld’s newest error, the Session Search Error. This displays players with a message that reads: “Session Search Error. OnFindSessionsComplete bWasSucessful == false.” Fortunately, there is a way to fix this error and get you back to playing Palworld.
To fix the Session Search Error issue in Palworld, you should restart Palworld and switch Multiplayer off in the settings of the world you’re trying to join. This issue typically appears when attempting to rejoin a world you’ve played in the past and is often tied to busy servers or issues with your internet. Here is a breakdown of how to do this:
Close Palworld completely
Start Palworld again and select “Change World Settings” under the world you want to play
Turn Multiplayer to Off.
This setting is found above Difficulty
Head into your world and then toggle Multiplayer on and off again.
If this does not fix the issue, there are a few other fixes you can try. These include:
Verify the integrity of your game files
Restart your router
You can also check the Palworld X (formerly Twitter) account in order to see if a patch to fix this issue is being rolled out. Outside of these fixes, there’s nothing else you can do. It’s likely an issue on Palworld’s end rather than yours and will need to be patched out by the developer. That’s everything you need to know about fixing the Session Search Error.
