LEGO Fortnite is continuing to receive new content every two weeks, with Epic Games teasing that fishing will arrive in the next update.
The last two updates of LEGO Fortnite, V28.10 and V28.20, have introduced new items into the game, alongside additional LEGO outfits and miscellaneous changes. However, after the latest update, there was a slight tease at the end, insinuating that fishing will be coming to the game.
How Do We Know Fishing is coming to LEGO Fortnite?
The LEGO Fortnite v28.20 patch notes mention that “In our v28.30 update, expect to reel in a lot of fun…“. While this could mean a lot of things, such as Risky Reels POI buildings coming to the game, it’s highly likely that fishing will come to LEGO Fortnite.
Fishing has been a major element in Fortnite since Chapter 2, and catching fish in the game provides players with health, shields, or other buffs. Therefore, considering this has been a solid foundation of the battle royale for many years, it seems like the most obvious scenario for the future of LEGO Fortnite.
When Will The Fishing Rod Come to LEGO Fortnite?
The Fishing Rod will be introduced in the LEGO Fortnite v28.30 update, which will be released on February 21, 2024. This is two weeks after the current update and two weeks before Chapter 5 Season 1 finishes.
