With the release of Call of Duty: MW3 right around the corner, when can fans expect to see the review embargo drop?
The slightly long-awaited MW3 is nearly upon us, and after two Beta weekends, fans are eager to get their hands on it. Of course, some aren’t quite as excited and may want to read a review or two before pulling out their wallet and throwing cash at the game. So, when does the MW3 review embargo drop? Below, we explain exactly when players can expect it to lift for both the MW3 campaign and multiplayer modes.
When Does the MW3 Review Embargo Drop?
The MW3 review embargo is expected to drop on Thursday, November 2, 2023, at 9 am ET, 6 am PT, or 2 pm BST. However, this is just for the campaign, as this is when the campaign early access period begins. Fans can likely expect the multiplayer review embargo to drop on release day, Friday, November 10, 2023.
Of course, the review embargo date hasn’t been officially confirmed yet but is based on previous installments. For example, reviews for the Call of Duty: MW2 campaign dropped during the early access period, but reviews for the multiplayer and other modes came out on release day. Fortunately, there are previews currently available for the multiplayer, including our own impressions of the game.
Unfortunately, that means if you were hoping to wait for reviews before pre-ordering, you’re out of luck. In the meantime, make sure to check out our Games Hub for all the latest news and guides for MW3. You’ll also find our reviews there when they drop.
