PlayStation Plus June Celebration

June PlayStation Plus Games Feature Rogue Legacy 2, Far Cry 6 and TMNT

Sony is happy to announce the June lineup for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue, including titles like Rogue Legacy 2, Far Cry 6, and TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge, among others, available to all PlayStation Plus members.

A year ago, PlayStation Plus launched a new tiered subscription structure, adding features such as a game catalogue, a collection of classic games, and trials for top-tier games. In celebration of this one-year milestone, PlayStation is planning 10 days of community activities.

For Premium subscribers, PlayStation is testing a new cloud streaming feature for compatible PS5 games. This upcoming feature aims to enable users to stream their games directly on their PS5 consoles without needing to download them first. While this feature is still in the early testing stages, more information, including a potential launch date, is expected in the near future.

Rogue Legacy 2, Far Cry 6 and TMNT: Shredders Revenge are on their way to both PS4 and PS5, reaching out to all players. While the exact release dates of these games were not mentioned by Sony, signs point to a June 20 release on PlayStation Plus.

Rogue Legacy 2 (PlayStation Debut)

Rogue Legacy 2 is a sequel to the popular video game Rogue Legacy. It’s a game where players explore a castle that changes every time they play. In this game, players use heroes with unique abilities. When a hero dies, their child becomes the next player character, and each child has their own special traits, some helpful, some not.

The game includes challenges like fighting monsters, solving puzzles, and finding treasure. If players die, they lose their progress but keep some money to upgrade abilities for future runs.

Rogue Legacy 2 releases on PlayStation on June 20, and will be on the catalogue as soon as it releases.

Far Cry 6

Far Cry 6 is an action-packed video game set in the fictional country of Yara, similar to Cuba. The game’s main character, Dani Rojas, fights against a dictator named Anton Castillo, played by actor Giancarlo Esposito. As Dani, players can choose to be a man or a woman, and use a variety of weapons and vehicles to battle Castillo’s forces.

The gameplay is expansive, covering vibrant cityscapes, dense jungles, and sandy beaches, offering players a chance to engage in direct confrontations, stealth attacks, or sabotage. Throughout Far Cry 6, players encounter a diverse cast of characters, each with their own stories and roles in the resistance against Castillo’s rule.

TMNT: Shredders Revenge

TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge is a fun video game that brings back the classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles gameplay to PlayStation. This game lets you play as one of the four Ninja Turtles: Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, or Michelangelo. Each turtle has unique skills and moves. The turtles fight against their old enemy, Shredder, and his gang, the Foot Clan. The game is full of action, with players battling in city streets, sewers, and even on a moving train. The game’s design looks like the old cartoon show, making it feel nostalgic.

In this game, players can work together with friends to defeat enemies. This means with four playable characters, up to four players can play at the same time, each controlling a different turtle. The game has many levels, each filled with different enemies and challenges. At the end of each level, players face a boss, a stronger enemy that’s tough to beat. As players progress, they unlock new moves and abilities.
