Miles Morales' Spider-Man in Marvel's Spider-Man 2

Is Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Coming to PS4 and PC?

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is right around the corner, and many fans are likely wondering if it will be released on PS4 and PC.

With the previous entries in the Marvel’s Spider-Man series being initially PlayStation exclusives and then porting to PC, it’s no surprise that fans are expecting the same this time around. However, many may be disappointed when they learn that the game is currently exclusive to just one platform.

Is Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PS4?

No, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is not releasing on PS4, and there are no plans to bring the game to PlayStation 4 in the future.

This was confirmed by Insomniac via the PlayStation Blog, where they said the game was ” brought to life in ways only possible on PlayStation 5 console.”

Of course, both Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales were on PS4, with the latter being on PS5 as well. However, likely due to the larger world in Spider-Man 2, the game will be exclusively on PS5.

Is Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PC?

It is possible that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be released on PC eventually. This is because both the original Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales were released on PC after their PlayStation launches.

However, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will not be launching on PC alongside the PS5 version in October 2023. It will be a PS5 exclusive for at least a year, if not longer, as the previous Spider-Man games took several years before being ported to PC.

For example, Marvel’s Spider-Man was released on PS4 on September 7, 2018, and then on PC on August 12, 2022. Similarly, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales was released on PS4 and PS5 on November 12, 2020, and then on PC on November 18, 2022.
