Palworld: What Is the Fastest Flying Mount & How to Get One
Have you wanted to fly around Palworld with your companion and don’t have a flying mount? We have the details on where to find one.
Palworld features a massive open world for players to explore with varying biomes and climates. However, as walking around can be slow and tedious, a faster means of traversal is the best way to go. Exploring through the skies is the perfect solution, and it’s quite easy to do once you know how. Fortunately, below we explain how to acquire a flying mount and get to soaring the great blue skies of Palworld and which mount is the best choice.
A flying mount is acquired in Palworld by catching a Pal that can fly and crafting a saddle for that animal. The process to get the ability to ride a Pal may seem complicated. However, it is simple and can be found below:
Find the Pal you wish to capture as your flying companion.
Reach the appropriate Player Level to craft a Saddle Blueprint (for example, the Vanwyrm Saddle recipe unlocks at Level 21)
Earn the adequate amount of Ancient Tech points to craft the Saddle.
Craft the Saddle at a Pal Gear Workbench.
Equip it to your selected Pal and add them to your team.
Summon the Pal and hit the mount button (F on PC & X on Xbox) to begin flying.
There are many choices for Pals in the game, and those that are bird-like animals are the ones that players can rely on to fly around. Although there are over 100 different Pals in the game, there are only 10 that can be used as a Flying companion. They are:
Vanwyrm is the best flying mount Pal players can use as it is the fastest in the game. You can locate them around the Mount Obsidian area in the west of the map. However, it’s worth noting that while the Vanwyrm is the fastest of the flying-type animals, any animal with flying ability can be used as a mount and is sufficient to help you get around the map faster.
