Gambit Ghost Studio is happy to announce that their upcoming story-driven role-playing game, FARSIDERS, has been funded on Kickstarter in under 24 hours.
Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand, Gambit Ghost Studio is a game development studio with a passion for producing high-quality, story-driven video games. Setting themselves apart from other indie studios, Gambit Ghost Studio focuses on creating visually stunning graphics and animations that transport players to new worlds and cultures, enhancing their gaming experience. This is currently their first game on Steam, and so far, it’s looking pretty good.
After reaching its Kickstarter funding goal in less than a day. This versatile hack-and-slash adventure, based on real-world Arthurian legends, is now moving towards its stretch goals. To show appreciation to their supporters and welcome new backers, FARSIDERS is offering an exclusive “Cassie Support Unit cloak” as a special reward upon the game’s launch.
Currently, the stretch goals are:
- $150,000 – More Spell Cards
- $200,000 – Full Customisation
- $300,000 – More Weapons
- $400,000 – Roguelite Mode
- $500,000 – Voiceover Dialogue
- $750,000 – Merlin’s Story
- $1,000,000 – Character: Kazuka Kai
- $1,250,000 – Multiplayer PvP Mode
- $1,250,000 – Multiplayer PvP Mode
While some of these goals seem incredibly ambitious, it’s pleasant to see that they have future goals for the game, post-launch.
What is FARSIDERS?
FARSIDERS is a real-time top-down hack-and-slash adventure game set in a stylised futuristic cyberpunk world filled with technology and magic, where time travel plays a crucial role in the storyline. Players embark on an intense story-driven action to meet legendary heroes, battle historical villains, and uncover new spell cards to save the world from an imminent threat. With over 30 different types of enemies, thrilling boss battles, and upgrades to technology and magic, FARSIDERS promises an immersive gaming experience.
