Devolver Digital hosted a whacky, hilarious, and chaotic Holiday Special to showcase some of their upcoming games, including Anger Foot, Baby Steps, and The Plucky Squire.
In typical Devolver Digital style, the Holiday Special doesn’t take itself too seriously and provides a unique take on a promotional event. There are new trailers, developer talks, and a cooking show centered on how a drill is helpful for every situation. Anger Foot
Anger Foot is a lighting-fast, high-energy first-person shooter where you must kick your way through the world to a hard-thumping bass. We’ve previously covered Anger Foot a couple of times, from the original game jam demo to the latest demo available on Steam.
Anger Foot is set to be released sometime in 2024 for PC via Steam.
The Plucky Squire
The Plucky Squire is a remarkable game that follows Jot and his friends, who discover a 3D world outside the pages of the book they live in. The Humgrump, the villain of the story, realizes he is indeed the book’s villain, destined to lose to the forces of good forever. So, instead, he decides to kick Jot out of the pages and into the 3D world. Now, Jot is everywhere, even in the cat litter.
The Plucky Squire is set to launch in 2024 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
Stick it to the Stickman
Stick it to the Stickman is a high-tempo roguelike brawler where you must climb the corporate ladder in the quickest way possible. You’ll have to proficiently defeat anyone who stands in your way of success with powerful upgrades and HR-approved weaponry suited for your job.
Stick it to the Stickman will be released in 2024 for PC via Steam.
Pepper Grinder
Pepper Grinder is an action-packed platformer whose main character boasts an instrumental Grinder that can drill through almost anything. The trailer shows the game’s developers, alongside the developer of Gunbrella, talking about how universal a drill is and how it can be used in every situation.
Pepper Grinder will release on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
Baby Steps
Baby Steps is a game about putting one step in front of the other by the creators of Getting Over It and Ape Out. You’ll explore a world with different biomes and fauna while you ponder about finding meaning in life.
According to the trailer, Baby Steps will launch in some year after 2023 for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam.
