Dragon’s Dogma 2 is on a lot of players’ radars and, for many, will likely be a game-of-the-year contender. However, not everyone can fork over the $70 price tag on day one and may want to try it out for free via Xbox Game Pass. After all, outside of the free character creator demo, there’s no way to trial the full game. Unfortunately, if you were thinking of trying Dragon’s Dogma 2 on Game Pass, at least close to launch, you’re out of luck.
Is Dragon’s Dogma 2 Coming to Xbox Game Pass?
No, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is not coming to Xbox Game Pass at launch on Friday, March 22, 2024, nor will it be on Game Pass shortly after launch. Capcom has not announced that Dragon’s Dogma 2 will be coming to Game Pass at any time in the near future. So, fans shouldn’t expect it on the platform any time soon.
Of course, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is available on Xbox, and players can pick it up for full price right now. However, if you were hoping to try it out for free via Xbox’s subscription service, you’re out of luck. Capcom does have some games on the service, including Resident Evil 3, Exoprimal, and Monster Hunter Rise, just to name a few. So, it’s possible that Dragon’s Dogma 2 will eventually be put on there.
It’s also worth noting that the original Dragon’s Dogma game is also not on Xbox Game Pass, nor is the Dark Arisen version. If you want to play any version of Dragon’s Dogma on Xbox, you’ll need to pay for it. However, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is available through the PlayStation Plus Extra subscription.
