Disney Speedstorm: All Playable Characters and Unique Skills List

Disney Speedstorm has a varied cast of characters from across the library of Disney franchises, including everything from Mickey Mouse to Mulan.

Recently, Disney Speedstorm was released for free on all platforms after being in Beta for quite some time. Racing games live and die by their character roster, and Disney Speedstorm is no exception. Of course, this naturally leads to fans being curious as to which characters are included in Disney Speedstorm, especially as new ones are added all the time. Disney Speedstorm currently has 45 diverse characters for players to choose from, each with their own unique abilities and vehicles. Below, we outline each and every character in Disney Speedstorm, so you know who you’ll pick before jumping in.

All Disney Speedstorm Playable Characters

Disney Speedstorm has 50 different playable characters, with its roster continuing to expand as further seasons inspired by different Disney universes are released. Each franchise has a selection of different classes to suit everyone’s playstyle, which includes Brawler, Trickster, Speedster, and Defender. Each class in Disney Speedstorm also has its own abilities and a unique skill for each character. Below are each of the current franchises included in Disney Speedstorm:

Below, we break down every character available from each of these franchises, as well as their skills in Disney Speedstorm.

Every Mickey and Friends Character

Steamboat Mickey

Class: Defender

Unique Skill: Happy Whistling

When activated, Mickey will start whistling his classic tune, making all racers ahead of him spawn a musical note. When you drive through the note, you’ll gain a speed boost for a short period of time.

Charged Happy Whistling

When activated, it turns Steamboat Mickey’s kart into a steamboat for a long period of time. He’ll also become invulnerable and leave a trail of smoke and water behind him. If an opponent touches the trail, they will lose control of their vehicle and have their vision obscured.

Steamboat Pete

Class: Brawler

Unique Skill: Steamboat Wheel

When activated, Pete throws a large boat wheel a short distance ahead of him, and the wheel itself leaves an ink trail. If opponents drive over the trail, they’ll be stunned.

Charged Steamboat Wheel

When his ability is charged, Pete begins throwing inkblobs in every direction while spinning a boat wheel on the top of his head for a very short period of time. This causes opponents to also be stunned when colliding with either the wheel or the ink blobs.

Mickey

Class: Speedster

Unique Skill: Trailblazer

When activated, Mickey will gain a speed boost for a very short period of time, leaving a musical note trail that also speeds up racers when following it.

Charged Trailblazer

When charged, Mickey will become invulnerable while also having a speed boost for a very short period of time. It also leaves a colorful musical trail behind him that not only speeds up racers who follow it but also allows them to be invulnerable like Mickey.

Donald

Class: Brawler

Unique Skill: Why I Oughta…

When activated, you are protected from a singular hit for a long period of time. If you find yourself hit, Donald will then become angry for a short period of time, which gives him a small speed boost and stuns all opponents who come in contact with him.

Charged Why I Oughta…

When charged, Donald will become angry instantly for a short period of time. While angry, much like the normal version of Why I Oughta…, you’ll gain a small speed boost and stun all opponents you touch.

Goofy

Class: Defender

Unique Skill: Barnstormer

When activated, you get a short boost but also temporarily lose control of your kart for a short period of time. However, you will also stun all opponents that collide with you.

Charged Barnstormer

When charged, Goofy will drop a fuel canister behind him onto the track that will stun all opponents that come into contact with it. You’ll also end up being pushed forward a long distance after dropping the canister.

Minnie

Class: Brawler

Unique Skill: Helper’s Aura

When activated, Minnie gets a speed boost for a very short period of time while also creating an aura that speeds up any racer who drives through it.

Charged Helper’s Aura

When Helper’s Aura is charged, Minnie will continue to activate a speed boost but also an additional shield for a short period of time. An aura is then again created that speeds up racers and now also shields whoever comes into contact with it.

Daisy

Class: Trickster

Unique Skill: Center of Attention

When activated, Daisy will get protection from one hit for a long period of time. If attacked, she’ll then scream in anger for a brief period of time while quickly dashing forward and stunning all opponents in her path at a huge radius.

Charged Center of Attention

When charged, Daisy will instantly scream in anger once again for a brief period of time, continuing to dash forward and stun each opponent in her path at a huge radius.

Every Mulan Character

Shang

Class: Defender

Unique Skill: Military Might

When activated, Shang will throw a wooden staff, which travels a short distance forward, then backward, stunning each opponent that finds themselves in its path.

Charged Military Might

When charged, Shang will spin his wooden staff around your kart for a moderate period of time. This not only protects yourself from other opponents but also stuns them on impact.

Mulan

Class: Trickster

Unique Skill: Firework Barrage

When activated, Mulan will shoot a stream of several explosive fireworks ahead of her, stunning each opponent they come in contact with.

Charged Firework Barrage

Her charged version launches a very slow guided rocket that follows behind her, exploding and stunning all opponents in the area.

Every Hercules Character

Hercules

Class: Brawler

Unique Skill: Olympian Flyby

When activated, Hercules will call for a Pegasus for a very short period of time. The trail the Pegasus leaves allows any racer who follows it to speed up while also making them invulnerable.

Charged Olympian Flyby

The charged version proceeds to call another Pegasus for a very short time and speeds only you up while stunning opponents who come in contact with the trail.

Meg

Class: Trickster

Unique Skill: Grecian Burn

When activated, Meg gets a speed boost for a very short period of time. Additionally, if you overtake other racers while it is activated, Grecian Burn will increase its duration.

Charged Grecian Burn

The charged version causes Meg to become intangible for a short period of time, leaving a trail that refills your boost bar when any opponent touches it.

Hades

Class: Trickster

Unique Skill: Hot-Headed

When activated, Hades will gain a moderate amount of nitro fuel every time he overtakes an opponent.

Charged Hot-headed

When Hot-headed is charged, he’ll become angry for a long period of time, triggering an explosion over an average area around himself whenever an opponent overtakes him on the track.

Every Aladdin Character

Jasmine

Class: Speedster

Unique Skill: Rajah’s Punce

When activated, Jasmine will proceed to summon Rajah to help her for a long period of time. He will run close to her, slashing at opponents, which causes them to be stunned.

Charged Rajah’s Pounce

The charged version sees Jasmine summon Rajah to aid her again. However, while it is for a shorter time, he’ll run ahead of Jasmine and slash at opponents, stunning them.

Aladdin

Class: Trickster

Unique Skill: Magic Carpet Ride

When activated, the magic carpet will take Aladdin and zoom him forward at high speeds. As he sits on the carpet, he also becomes invulnerable, throwing gold to replenish his opponent’s nitro fuel.

Charged Magic Carpet Ride

In the charged version, Aladdin will stand on the carpet and can control it. He gains a speed boost for a long period of time while also acquiring random strong common skills when in contact with opponents.

Jafar

Class: Brawler

Unique Skill: Fire Breath

When activated, he’ll use his staff to shoot out a continuous beam of fire in front of him for a long period of time that stuns any opponents that collide with it.

Charged Fire Breath

His charged version of Fire Breath sees him use the staff to create walls of fire on each side of his vehicle for a long period of time. This causes his opponents to be stunned when colliding with it.

Genie

Class Defender

Unique Skill: Genie Magic

When activated, he can create one of three different effects, which change depending on how many opponents are ahead of him. These include becoming invulnerable for a long period of time, a fast-guided projectile, or a very short boost.

Charged Genie Magic

His charged Genie Magic grants him three wishes, which then randomly generate a strong common skill at set intervals.

Every Pirates of the Caribbean Character

Jack Sparrow

Class: Trickster

Unique Skill: Cutlass Flurry

When activated, it causes him to spin a ghostly cutlass around his kart for a moderate amount of time. This proceeds to stun opponents that come close. His unique skill also continues to generate a moderate amount of nitro fuel over time.

Charged Cutlass Flurry

Jack’s charged version of Cutlass Flurry is the exact same, only this time it’s shorter, and the ghostly cutlass has a larger radius around his kart.

Elizabeth Swann

Class: Defender

Unique Skill: Jade Captain’s Knot

When activated, Elizabeth dashes forward at an above-average distance while also pushing opponents a very short distance away from her.

Charged Jade Captain’s Knot

Elizabeth’s charged version causes her to dash forward, but this time, she also leaves behind a trail that stops opponents in their tracks for a very short duration.

Every Beauty and the Beast Character

Belle

Class: Speedster

Unique Skill: Enchanted Mirror

When activated, she spawns a small set of furniture down the track, which stun opponents who collide with it.

Charged Enchanted Mirror

The charged version of Enchanted Mirror calls in several flocks of birds that fly ahead down the track. These birds cause everyone around Belle to speed up for a moderate amount of time.

Beast

Class: Brawler

Unique Skill: Enchanted Rose

When activated, he unleashes a powerful but very short roar, which stuns all opponents in front of him.

Charged Enchanted Rose

The charged version allows Beast to leap forward a very short distance.

Using either of these skills separately three times during a race will make Beast go into rage mode. This will cause all skill boxes to only grant the skill that triggered Beast’s rage mode.

Gaston

Class: Brawler

Unique Skill: Trophy Hunting

When activated, he shoots an arrow ahead of him and gains a very short speed boost.

Charged Trophy Hunting

The charged version of Trophy Hunting will give Gaston the ability to gain a very short speed boost as he punches forward.

If either of these skills hits an opponent, Gaston will gain a trophy and can use the ability again, continuing to stun opponents. Each trophy gained will increase the speed boosts.

Every The Jungle Book Character

Mowgli

Class: Speedster

Unique Skill: One of the Pack

When activated, he calls three wolves onto the track that run alongside him for a long period of time, stunning opponents they collide with. Additionally, driving near any of the wolves will give you nitro fuel.

Charged One of the Pack

The charged version of One of the Pack calls three wolves that will rush ahead of you for a long distance and stun any opponents they touch.

Baloo

Class: Defender

Unique Skill: Bare Necessities

When activated, Baloo will become invulnerable for a very short period of time, throwing rotten fruit backward. If an opponent collides with it, they’ll be stunned.

Charged Bare Necessities

The charged version will summon several ripe pieces of fruit ahead on the track. Driving through these fruits will regain not just your nitro fuel but also other racers’ as well.

Every Monsters Inc. Character

Sulley

Class: Brawler

Unique Skill: Fearsome Roar

When activated, he lets out a scream at a huge range that also pushes all the opponents around him.

Charged Fearsome Roar

Charging this unique skill will cause Sulley to then let out three screams in an average radius around him that stun all opponents.

Both these skills will allow you to replenish your boost bar and get more boost fuel for each opponent impacted by the Fearsome Roar.

Mike Wazowski

Class: Speedster

Unique Skill: Hold The Door

When activated, he summons a door in front of him. When entering this door, you will be teleported a short distance forward.

Charged Hold The Door

When this unique skill is charged, it’ll spawn two doors down the track that also teleport you a short distance forward.

When either of these skills is used, if an opponent enters the same door, they will be teleported a short distance backward.

Celia Mae

Class: Defender

Unique Skill: Snake and Shake

When activated, Celia Mae will be put in a happy mood until she’s interrupted. When she is in a happy mood, she will generate a tiny amount of nitro fuel if there are no opponents near her.

Charged Snake and Shake

However, when her charged skill is used, it will put her in an angry mood until she’s interrupted. While she is angry, Celia Mae will generate a big amount of nitro fuel and will also slow opponents when driving near them.

Randall

Class: Trickster

Unique Skill: Scream Collector

When activated, he will become invisible for a long period of time. He’ll also be able to scare opponents, collecting individual screams from each of them.

Charged Scream Collector

The charged version of Scream Collector then opens a door to Randall that teleports him a short distance forward whilst also collecting one singular scream.

When Randall finally collects five screams, you’ll be able to use a powerful speed boost for a short period of time that leaves a trail that obscures the vision of each opponent that touches it.

Every Walt Disney World Character

Figment

Class: Trickster

Unique Skill: Spark of Imagination

When activated, he creates a blast of imagination that obscures the vision of each opponent close by while also giving you a very short speed boost that stacks for each opponent’s vision you obscure.

Charged Spark of Imagination

Figment’s charged skill leaves a trail of imagination that also obscures the vision of those who touch it. Once the trail has finished, a very short speed boost will then be activated for each opponent that hit it.

Every Toy Story Character

Woody

Class: Speedster

Unique Skill: Drawstring Lasso

When activated, Woody will throw a lasso forward. He will then dash a long distance if you manage to hit an opponent or dash a very short distance if you miss.

Charged Drawstring Lasso

The charged Drawstring Lasso will activate an offensive aura that stuns those who collide with it, refilling your boost bar. This charged unique skill is also activated for a long period of time and can stack up to three times.

Buzz Lightyear

Class: Defender

Unique Skill: Rocket Boost

When activated, Buzz puts a giant firework on his back and launches forward, causing him to have a major speed boost for a very short period of time. If Buzz finds himself hitting any opponents during this time, the rocket will then explode, stunning all opponents near him.

Charged Rocket Boost

When charged, this skill causes Buzz to fire a giant firework backward. It moves erratically, stunning everyone along the way. Additionally, you will also dash forward for a long distance.

Jessie

Class: Brawler

Unique Skill: Yodelin’ Cowgirl

When activated, Jessie will spawn several toys ahead on the track, which stun each opponent that comes into contact with them.

Charged Yodelin’ Cowgirl

Her charged version causes several toys to spawn behind her, each stunning the opponent they hit.

Bo Peep

Class: Trickster

Unique Skill: Shepherd’s Crook

When activated, Bo Peep will throw a shepherd’s crook forward a very short distance that stuns all opponents it hits. If the crook is caught, you’ll be able to throw it again.

Charged Shepherd’s Crook

The charged version sees Peep brandish her shepherd’s crook for a very short duration while also making her invulnerable. If an opponent comes near the crook, you will be able to catch them and proceed to dash forward.

Every Lilo and Stitch Character

Lilo

Class: Speedster

Unique Skill: Favorite Hobbies

When activated, she will take out her camera and start taking photos of nearby opponents. Her max speed is then very briefly increased for each photo captured during the activation of her skill.

Charged Favorite Hobbies

Her charged skill sees her start surfing at a high speed, leaving a trail of water, causing each opponent that collides with it to lose control of their kart for a brief period of time.

Stitch

Class: Speedster

Unique Skill: Experiment 626

When activated, Stitch becomes invulnerable and starts shooting forward for a very short duration with his laser pistols, which stun each opponent you hit.

Charged Experiment 626

The charged version of Experiment 626 causes Stitch to become invulnerable, but his shooting is now random for an average period of time. This continues to stun opponents who get shot by his laser pistols.

Angel

Class: Trickster

Unique Skill: Siren Song

When activated, Angel will start singing a calming song that will very slightly slow down opponents nearby. However, the opponents will also become invulnerable.

Charged Siren Song

When Siren Song is charged, Angel will begin to sing an invigorating song, which makes you and all opponents nearby dash forward for a very short distance.

Jumba

Class: Defender

Unique Skill: Unstable Blaster

When activated, Jumba marks the racer in the first position, who, after a short while, will explode, stunning opponents nearby in the process.

Charged Unstable Blaster

The charged Unstable Blaster will cause Jumba to drop the unstable blaster itself on the track. The blaster will then explode after a short period of time, stunning opponents in a large radius.

Captain Gantu

Class: Brawler

Unique Skill: Galactic Support

When activated, this allows Captain Gantu to call a spaceship to shoot plasma blobs onto the track, which stuns opponents and makes you invulnerable.

Charged Galactic Support

When this unique skill is charged, the same spaceship will come and shoot plasma blobs onto the track. However, it will move towards you rather than away for a short duration.

Every Frozen Character

Olaf

Class: Speedster

Unique Skill: Snowfall 

When activated, Olaf will begin throwing many snowballs in front of him in random directions. Opponents who are hit will become stunned.

Charged Snowfall 

When charged, Olaf will leave a trail behind him for an extended period of time. If opponents collide with the trail, they’ll find themselves unable to steer, as their kart will be frozen for a brief period.

Elsa

Class: Defender

Unique Skill: Ice Magic

When activated, Elsa will use her ice magic to shoot a continuous beam of ice in front of her for a very short time. Opponents in her line of sight will find themselves unable to steer as their kart will be frozen briefly.

Charged Ice Magic

When charged, Elsa will create a small ice wall behind her on the track, which will stun opponents who hit it.

Anna

Class: Trickster

Unique Skill: Love Thaw

When activated, she’ll gain a considerable amount of nitro fuel every second for a long time.

Charged Love Thaw

When charged, Anna will summon a generous aura that protects whoever is inside it and helps her gain a massive amount of nitro fuel for an extended period.

Kristoff

Class: Defender

Unique Skill: Survival Skills

When activated, Kristoff will unleash Sven onto the track to target opponents in front of him for a very short time.

Charged Survival Skills

When charged, for a short time, he’ll continuously throw burning blankets behind him on the track that stun each opponent they hit.

Hans

Class: Brawler

Unique Skill: Royal Influence

When activated, Hans will instantly become invisible for an extended period. While invisible on the track, he’ll stun the first opponent you touch. However, he will become visible after this action.

Charged Royal Influence

When charged, Hans will order his guard to rain arrows on each opponent ahead of him for a very short time.

Every Oswald The Lucky Rabbit Character

Oswald

Class: Trickster

Unique Skill: Earful Versatility 

When activated, Oswald will begin spinning his ears for a short time, this ability then causes opponents to be pushed away from Oswald when they draw near. Each opponent coming into contact with his ears will increase the duration of Earful Versatility, causing Oswald to obtain more nitro fuel.

Charged Earful Versatility

When charged, Oswald will spin his ears much faster, causing him to fly forward at high speeds. He’ll also continue to push away opponents his flies over. 

Ortensia

Class: Speedster

Unique Skill: Lovely Flowers

When activated, Ortensia will summon three offensive flowers around her kart for an extended period of time. Every flower will stun an opponent when they come in contact.

Charged Lovely Flowers

When charged, she’ll create three defensive flowers around her for a long period. Every flower will protect her from danger only once.

Every Wall-E Character

Wall-E

Class: Speedster

Unique Skill: Waste Allocation

Wall-E will spawn several piles of scrap metal onto the track. As you collect the scrap on the track, you’ll gain a weak boost along with manual Boost fuel. However, if Wall-E collects 3 piles, he will summon a small wall behind him that will stun each opponent coming into contact with it.

Charged Waste Allocation

Wall-E will use his trusty fire extinguisher to push forward weakly a couple of times.

Eve

Class: Defender

Unique Skill: Plasma Cannon

Eve will enter a ‘trigger happy’ stance for a short duration, shooting the first three opponents she notices in her range.

Charged Plasma Cannon

Eve will automatically shoot several projectiles ahead of her, which explode on impact.

Every The Little Mermaid Character

Ariel

Class: Defender

Unique Skill: Relic Hunter

When activated, Ariel increases her maximum speed by a minimal amount by summoning relics on the track. With each relic she collects, her top speed will increase by a minimal amount.

Charged Relic Hunter

When charged, Ariel will use all the relics she has collected to use an exceedingly powerful speed boost for a short time.

Prince Eric

Class: Speedster

Unique Skill: Set Sail

When activated, Prince Eric will change his kart into a ship and begin sailing forward at a moderate speed. The boat also protects Prince Eric from others while also stunning opponents who come into contact with his boat. However, the ship’s durability will deteriorate with each opponent hit, eventually breaking.

Charged Set Sail

When charged, Eric will summon the ship again; this time, it will go ahead of him on the track at high speeds—stunning opponents before eventually breaking once more.

Ursula

Class: Trickster

Unique Skill: Sea Witch

When activated, Ursula will summon Flotsam and Jetsam to slow two opponents ahead of her on the track slightly.

Charged Sea Witch

When charged, Ursula will create an aura for a short duration, which refills her boost bar for each opponent to gain a speed boost while losing control of their vehicles for a brief time under the impact of her aura.

King Triton

Class: Brawler

Unique Skill: Triton’s Trident

When activated, King Triton will summon his trident and use it to produce a long beam of energy for a moderate time. This beam will then focus on an opponent, causing them to explode and stun others around them and themselves.

Charged Triton’s Trident

When Charged, King Triton will summon his trident once more and cause a broad tide behind him, stunning opponents as the tide follows the track for a very short period.
