If you’re subscribed to Xbox Game Pass, then you likely already have an enormous backlog of games to try. Well, it seems like Don’t Nod, the developers of Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, are ready to put their latest game on your ever-growing pile. However, if you were hoping to try it out on Xbox Game Pass first, you might be a little disappointed. Below, we explain whether Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is on Xbox Game Pass.
Is Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden On Xbox Game Pass?
No, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is not on Xbox Game Pass. There are no confirmed plans to bring it to Game Pass in the future. The game is available for purchase on Xbox and PC for the full price of $49.99. However, it is not available for free through the subscription service. Additionally, as it is not a first-party game, it won’t be added on there by default in the future. Don’t Nod, the developer, will need to actively seek to put the game on Game Pass.
However, it’s worth noting that Don’t Nod’s other games, including the Life is Strange series, have appeared on Game Pass. While this doesn’t guarantee the same will happen with Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, it does mean that it’s a possibility in the future. The likelihood is that it will appear on Xbox Game Pass a year or so after release to give players the chance to purchase it at full price beforehand.
