Indie developer RUNWILD Entertainment is launching their third-person action RPG, Almighty: Kill Your Gods, into Steam Early Access today.
Everyone’s favourite Monster Hunter: Rise has been and gone, and so fans of the franchise are likely looking for their next fix. Enter Almighty: Kill Your Gods. Published by Versus Evil and developed by RUNWILD Entertainment, Almighty: Kill Your Gods is a brand-new third-person action RPG about taking down those pesky deities rampaging around the world. The game is entering Early Access today, and according to its Steam page, aims to stay there for “7-12 months”. Steve Escalante, the general manager at publisher Versus Evil, spoke about the ambitious qualities of Almighty: Kill Your Gods, and working with RUNWILD Entertainment.

What Is Almighty: Kill Your Gods?
Almighty: Kill Your Gods is a third-person action RPG that puts players in the role of a supercharged Alpha. These magical warriors are tasked with saving their tribe from the tyranny and oppression of the titular Elder Gods. You must utilise a vast array of weapons, magical powers and allies to take down these fearsome foes. On top of that, you must see to it that your home remains safe. By gathering resources and removing limbs from your giant foes, you can build and upgrade towers, farms and various other buildings to help restore order to your tribe. Here is some of what you can expect in Almighty: Kill Your Gods:
- Explore a dynamic sandbox world where behemoths, gods and monsters roam wild
- Engage in emergent frantic combat against giant creatures and utilise your Gauntlets and Power Stones to best your enemies
- Tackle the Gods alone, or join forces with up to three other friends and fight side-by-side
- Craft and customise your gear to best suit your playstyle
- Upgrade and defend your Home Island to ensure your tribe’s safety. You can also visit your friends’ Home Islands and help each other upgrade and defend from enemy raids

Almighty: Kill Your Gods is launching today on Steam and will cost $24.99 / £18.99 / €22.49 for the Standard Edition. A Supporter Pack is also available and can be bought for $9.99 / £7.49 / €8.99.
