Baldur’s Gate 3 is gearing up to launch on PlayStation 5 next month after breaking countless records on Steam.
The game has been taking the world by storm, setting countless records for concurrent players and is already among Steam’s most-downloaded games of all time. Fortunately, PlayStation 5 players can get a piece of the action from September.
When Does Baldur’s Gate 3 Release on PlayStation 5?
Baldur’s Gate 3 releases on PlayStation 5 on September 6, 2023. However, those looking to spend a few extra dollars can purchase the Digital Deluxe edition, which will grant players 72-hour early access.

Will Baldur’s Gate 3 Come to Other Platforms?
Baldur’s Gate 3 will come to other platforms, although, there is no install date announced for Xbox or Nintendo Switch. For Xbox Series X/S players, the director of publishing at Larian Studios Michael Douse mentioned that technical delays have halted the Xbox release.
However, there is bad news for anyone wanting to play Baldur’s Gate 3 on Nintendo Switch as there is currently no plan to release it on the console at all.
