The Ballon d’Or is the most prestigious award in football (soccer), and has always been unobtainable in EA Sports FC 24, until now.
FIFA’s career mode has always been a popular mode, especially among those who aren’t interested in the online features of Ultimate Team. Now, with a fresh name change, EA Sports FC 24 will introduce new features into the mode, including the infamous Ballon d’Or.
EA Sports FC 24 Career Mode Will Feature The Ballon d’Or
For the first time, players will be able to attend the Ballon d’Or ceremony in EA Sports FC 24 Career Mode.
According to the EA Sports FC Deep Dive, players will be able to celebrate the big moments in their respective career modes. Whether it’s celebrating winning the league with a trophy lift or prevailing at the end-of-year awards, players can be immersed in EA Sports FC 24 like no other.
The Ballon d’Or ceremony will be available in both Player and Manager Career, so everyone has something to enjoy. Currently, there is only a confirmation of the Ballon d’Or coming to the game, but hopefully, we will see EA introduce all the awards, including the Kopa Trophy, which is awarded to the young player of the year.
What is the Ballon d’Or Award?
The Ballon d’Or is an annual football (soccer) award given to the best male player in the world by the France Football magazine. The award is presented to the player who has had the most impressive season as determined by a panel of international journalists, and the coaches and captains of the select national teams.
For women, the France Football magazine introduced the Ballon d’Or Féminin, acknowledging the best female player. However, this award will be absent from EA Sports FC 24 as there is no female Career Mode.
The last winner of the trophy was Karim Benzema, and Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are the most decorated players in the history of the award.
