Developer Cotton Game and publisher Lilith Games have released their murder mystery visual novel, Tales of the Mirror, onto Steam and mobile devices.
Tales of the Mirror is a visual novel set during the Ming Dynasty. It’s being developed by Cotton Game. They are a development studio with a long history of making well-received visual novels and puzzle adventure games. It is set to be their most unique title yet as it adopts traditional Chinese art to tell its narrative. The developers have taken inspiration from traditional Chinese music, art and storytelling to bring to life their murder mystery visual novel.

Tales of the Mirror is a murder mystery visual novel set during the Ming Dynasty (so around the years 1368 to 1644). Players will take on the role of Peh Jun, who must uncover the mystery behind a gruesome murder. You’ll explore a small village on the Yangtze River, talk to the village’s inhabitants and use your magic mirror to reveal secrets. But you’ll have to be careful.
