Stitchy In Tooki Trouble Launches On The Nintendo Switch This April

Developer, Polygoat, is bringing their “a-maizing” pick up and play platformer, Stitchy in Tooki Trouble, to the Nintendo Switch this April.

Inspired by platforming classics of old such as Donkey Kong, Stitchy in Tooki Trouble aims to bring some nostalgic fun to the Nintendo Switch. Players will be able to explore lavish worlds and collect as much corn as they can handle. Adopting a colourful “fairy-tale” art style, Stitchy in Tooki Trouble seems perfectly suited for the pick-up and play nature of the Switch. Polygoat co-founder Frederik Smolders talked about how this game is the studio’s passion project, and their excitement for others to finally experience it.

Stitchy is a passion project for us! Inspired by classic games like Donkey Kong, we hope our side-scrolling gameplay and colourful art style lives up to our inspirations and appeals to kids and grownups alike. We can’t wait to get it into everyone’s hands!”

What Is Stitchy In Tooki Trouble?

Players take on the role of Stitchy, whose mission in life is to recover all of their stolen corn from the “troublesome wooden Tooki”. You’ll explore numerous worlds, experience wild rides and come face to face with huge bosses. It seems like an awful lot of trouble for a bunch of corn. Then again, who am I to get in the way of Stitchy and their quest for corn? Here’s everything you can expect when Stitchy in Tooki Trouble launches this April:

  • Experience a colourful single-player platformer inspired by the greats
  • Explore 27 levels across three unique worlds. You’ll see everything from vibrant jungles to a Tooki factory
  • Uncover secret levels in each world
  • Tackle huge bosses at the end of each world
  • Collect all of the corn
