Realm of Ink has officially confirmed an Early Access launch, and it’s coming in a couple of weeks. Here is what you need to know
Many players have wanted to play the ink-style action roguelite Realm of Ink since early this year. Fortunately, it’s not long until they can sink their teeth into it, as Leap Studio, the developer, has finally announced that an Early Access experience awaits players on Friday, May 17, 2024.
What Will Be Included In the Realm of Ink Early Access?
The Realm of Ink’s Early Access phase will be content-rich, featuring a number of playable characters, weapon sets, Ink Pet gameplay mechanics, bosses, and more. More content will be added across the Early Access phase as Leap Studio progresses through its development roadmap. This includes frequent game optimization patches and new features. When Realm of Ink launches, players can expect the following:
- Complete 4-act levels and 8 bosses.
- The first playable character, Red the Swordswoman, with 3 weapons.
- Full gameplay for 20 Ink Gem skills across 4 tiers.
- Full gameplay for 15 Ink Pets across 4 tiers and over 40 forms.
- Over 150 Perks to provide diverse building possibilities.
- The first layer of world-building and approximately 30% of the storyline.
- Endless mode gameplay for challenge seekers.

Unfortunately, console players will not have access to Realm of Ink’s Early Access when it comes live on Friday, May 17, 2024. However, luckily, they won’t need to wait for long as fans of the Realm of Ink can expect the V1.0 PC launch and console release to follow after the Early Access period in 2024.
