The Pokemon Go September 2023 Community Day is just around the corner, and this time, Grubbin will be the Pokemon in the spotlight.
The next Community Day will take place on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time. Here are all the details you need to know:

What Pokemon is Featured in the September 2023 Community Day?
Grubbin, the Larva Pokemon, will be the next featured Pokemon in the September 2023 Pokemon Go Community Day. You might even encounter a shiny Grubbin on the day as well.
Furthermore, if you evolve Grubbin’s evolution, Charjabug, into a Vikavolt, you will receive the Fast Attack Volt Switch. This will be available for up to five hours after the event. Here are the move details:

[Paid] Community Day Special Research story – Plugging Along
For just US$1.00 (or the equivalent in your local currency), you can access the Grubbin Community Day–exclusive Special Research story, titled “Plugging Along.”
This special research usually just grants players additional encounters with the Community Day Pokemon, and in this case, Grubbin.
Event Bonuses
During the Pokemon Go event, there will also be additional bonuses throughout the duration of the event. These include:
- 3× XP for catching Pokémon.
- 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
- 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
- Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!
- One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day.
- Trades will require 50% less Stardust.
The trade bonuses will be available for five hours after the event, until 10 pm local time.
Bonus Raid Battles
After the main Pokemon Go Community Day event ends, from 5 pm to 10 pm local time, you can take on special four-star Raid Battles.
These battles will feature Charjabug, and if you emerge victorious, more Grubbin will appear around the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes. As always, make sure you keep your eyes peeled for a shiny.
Additional Pokemon Go September Community Day Details
Timed Research offering Magnetic Lures will be available from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time. Additionally, September Community Day–themed Field Research tasks will be up for grabs, granting you rewards such as extra encounters with Grubbin, Stardust, Ultra Balls, and more.
