What Pokemon is Featured in the October 2023 Community Day?
Timburr, the Muscular Pokemon, will be the next featured Pokemon in the October 2023 Pokemon Go Community Day. You might even encounter a Shiny Timburr on the day as well.
Furthermore, if you evolve Timburr’s evolution, Gurdurr, into a Conkeldurr, you will receive the Charged Attack Brutal Swing. This will be available for up to five hours after the event. Here are the move details:
[Paid] Community Day Special Research Story – Muscle Memories
For just US$1.00 (or the equivalent in your local currency), Trainers can access the Timburr Community Day–exclusive Special Research story titled “Muscle Memories.”
As always, this special research usually just grants players additional encounters with the Community Day Pokemon, and in this case, Timburr.
There will also be additional bonuses throughout the duration of the Pokemon Go Community Day. These include:
3× Stardust for catching Pokémon.
2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!
One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day.
Trades will require 50% less Stardust.
The trade bonuses will be available for five hours after the event, until 10 pm local time.
Bonus Raid Battles after Community Day
After the main Pokemon Go Community Day event ends, you can take on special four-star Raid Battles from 5 pm to 10 pm local time.
These battles will feature Gurdurr, and if you emerge victorious, more Timburr will appear around the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes. As always, make sure you keep your eyes peeled for a shiny.
Field Research and Stickers
October Community Day–themed Field Research will be available for all Trainers. These can be completed by catching Timburr, which will earn you additional encounters with Timburr and Great Balls, Ultra Balls, and more.
Trainers can also receive event-themed stickers by spinning PokeStops, opening Gifts, and purchasing them from the in-game shop.
