The October 2023 Pokemon Go Community Day will take place on Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time, and naturally, players will want to catch a Shiny.
Can You Catch Shiny Timburr in Pokemon Go?
Fortunately, you can catch a Shiny Timburr in Pokemon Go. When the event starts, players can grab themselves a Shiny variant of Timburr at an increased rate.
The likelihood of encountering a Shiny Timburr in Pokemon Go stands at a low 0.2%, equating to a 1 in 500 chance. However, during Community Day, Trainers can take advantage of the increased Shiny rate of 1 in 25, or 4%. So make sure you head out and make the most of the upcoming Community Day.
What Does Shiny Timburr Look Like?
Shiny Timburr is a slight improvement to the original, and will definitely be a good addition to anyone’s collection. The Shiny variant adds a yellow hue to the original form.
Timburr’s evolutions will also be available to catch as Shiny. Gurdurr, the first evolution, keeps the same colouring as Timburr, so Shiny owners won’t be too pleased with this evolution. However, the final evolution, Conkeldurr, moves away from the yellow, adopting an orange colour that is noticeably different when compared to the original.
