Pokemon Go Fest 2023: New York City is happening this coming weekend, but those who live outside of the area can still get in on the action with the Noxious Swamp event.
The Noxious Swamp event will run between Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at 8:00 p.m. local time. It focuses on Poison-type and Dragon-type Pokemon, and, for the first time, players can encounter a Shiny Skrelp. Furthermore, there will be different wild encounters, raids, bonuses and free limited-time field research. Here is everything you need to know about the Noxious Swamp event.

Free Timed Research
The Timed Research will be completely free and automatically appear for players when the event begins. The tasks will focus on raiding and will award encounters with Poison- and Dragon-type Pokémon, including Jangmo-o. The Timed Research will end when the event concludes.
