Paper Mario and Luigi’s Mansion 2 Release Dates Have Been Revealed for Switch

To celebrate MAR10 day, Nintendo has finally announced the release dates for their upcoming much-anticipated games: Paper Mario and Luigi’s Mansion 2.

Fans of the Super Mario franchise have just celebrated March 10, better known as MAR10 Day. During this yearly celebration, Nintendo decided it was the perfect time to announce the release dates for the remake of the classic GameCube game Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and the remaster of the beloved 3DS game Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD.

When Do Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD Release?

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door will be released on Thursday, May 23, 2024, and Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD will be released on Thursday, June 27, 2024. Players will be happy to know that both anticipated games are currently available to pre-order. These beloved series returning to a new console will bring a new generation of fans to enjoy each franchise. Whether you’re new or returning, Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door will allow players to jump into the magic of Paper Mario’s universe. In contrast, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD will let those who missed out on the original game dive into a spooky tale of scares.

On top of these release dates being revealed, Nintendo also announced that three classic Game Boy and Game Boy Color Mario games will reappear and make their way to Nintendo Switch Online very soon. Dr. Mario, Mario Golf, and Mario Tennis can all be expected to join on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.

It should be noted that players will need a Nintendo Switch Online membership in order to access this collection of classic games. These three games will allow players to enjoy the classics and experience how far Mario has come over the years.
