Palworld has a number of challenging Tower Bosses for players to beat, each with their own deadly Pal. Here’s where to find them and how to take them down.
There are 5 Tower Bosses currently in Palworld, with each one scattered across the map. While they can technically be beaten in any order, they get progressively harder. For example, the first Tower Boss you’ll likely come across, Zoe, has 30,000 HP, whereas Marcus, who’s in the desert to the East of her, has 146,000 HP. Each one requires you to defeat them within 10 minutes, which will be easy to do once you know which type to bring with you. Luckily, we’ve got you covered there. Below, we’ve broken down exactly where to find these Tower Bosses and how best to beat them.
Location: Tower of the Rayne Syndicate (North West of the starting point)
Challenge Conditions: 30,550 HP in 10 minutes
To beat Zoe and Grizzbolt, you’ll want to bring ground-type Pals with you as they are super-effective against electric-types. This includes Rushroar and Gumoss, both of which are available in the early regions.
You can avoid Zoe and Grizzbolt’s long-range barrage attack by dodge rolling and any up-close melee attacks by hiding behind the pillars scattered across the arena. Grizzbolt also has an AOE attack that you can avoid by keeping your distance, and Zoe has a charged laser attack that you’ll need to avoid by being behind cover. Additionally, once your Pal has aggroed Grizzbolt, get behind it to deal melee damage if you’ve run out of ammo.
Lily and Lyleen
Location: Tower of the Free Pal Alliance (North East of the Rayne Syndicate Tower)
Challenge Conditions: 69,370 HP in 10 minutes
To beat Lily and Lyleen, you’ll want to bring fire-type Pals with you, as they’re super-effective against grass-types. This includes Foxsparks, Bushi, or even Vanwyrm, most of which are available in the early regions or to the west of the Free Pal Alliance Tower.
You can fly on Vanwyrm using a mount to direct its attacks when fighting Lily and Lyleen. However, this is risky, and you cannot use your Pal to direct Lyleen’s aggro. Instead, we suggest distancing yourself from Lyleen as much as possible. Her homing bubbles and hurricane attacks can deal deadly damage, and keeping behind pillars whenever she fires her poison cloud attack or three-shot missile is key.
Axel and Orserk
Location: Tower of the Brothers of the Eternal Pyre (In Mount Obsidian, West of the Rayne Syndicate Tower)
Challenge Conditions: 130,700 HP in 10 minutes
Orserk is a dragon and electric type, making it weak to ground and electric Pals. So, to beat Axel and Orserk, you’ll want to bring along a Grizzbolt if you’ve been able to breed one or any ground-type Pal.
Additionally, make sure to stock up on ammunition and craft some guns to bring with you. You’ll also want to craft weapons for any of your available Pals, as this will increase your chances of taking down Axel and Orserk in the time limit.
Marcus and Faleris
Location: Tower of the PIDF (North East of the Free Pal Alliance Tower)
Challenge Conditions: 146,975 HP in 10 minutes
To beat Marcus and Faleris, you’ll need water-type Pals, as they are super effective against fire types. Ideally, you should catch a Relaxaurus, or even buy one from a Black Marketeer, or alternatively a Surfent. However, any high-level water-type Pal will do.
You’ll need Pals with long-ranged attacks and guns for yourself. Faleris will be in the sky for most of the fight, requiring you to ditch any melee attacks and focus on long-ranged combat. Make sure to bring the most powerful guns you have available and, ideally, a rocket launcher.
Location: Tower of the PAL Genetic Research Unit (North West of the Free Pal Alliance Tower)
Challenge Conditions: 200,750 HP in 10 minutes
Victor and Shadowbeak are a challenging fight but can be taken down easily with dragon-type Pals. You should bring a Relaxaurus if you have one, or, ideally, catch yourself the legendary Jetragon.
Once again, Shadowbeak will be up in the air for most of the fight, so you’ll need to bring plenty of guns and ammo with you. The rocket launcher is the most effective weapon to use; however, any high-level gun will suffice.
