Moonglow Bay is Coming to PlayStation & Switch With New Update

The cozy fishing RPG Moonglow Bay is coming to PlayStation and Nintendo Switch, alongside an update introducing a new questline.

In Moonglow Bay, you assume the role of a rookie angler who is overcome with the grief of losing their partner and must help keep the local town afloat in the face of impending bankruptcy. It’s your job to explore the furthest reaches of the ocean and uncover the secrets of Moonglow Bay. You’ll need to catch fish, cook your haul or show it off at the local aquarium, document mythical monsters, upgrade your ship, restore the town to its true glory, and build relationships by helping the locals, either alone or via drop-in local co-op.

What is the new Moonglow Bay Update?

The new Moonglow Bay update will provide you with an insight into the perspective of your character’s point of view with a camera mode. This item is also tied to a new questline that begins with you finding and fixing the camera before pivoting off into a mystery involving a skeleton of a long lost sea creature. Finally, the update introduces the ability to decorate your shabby shop with decorations and customer seating. You can check out the new trailer here.

“We’re unbelievably excited to bring Moonglow Bay to new audiences on Switch and PlayStation on April 11,” said creative director Zach Soares. “We’re also happy to be able to provide something new for fans on PC and Xbox who will get the free new update on the same day, giving them a fun new quest to delve into, along with a cool camera and some fun decorations!”
