Martha is Dead Reveals Udo Kier in New WWII Trailer

Upcoming Psychological Horror game, Martha is Dead, has received a new trailer showcasing its World War II setting and Udo Kier as a German General.

Indie publisher Wired Productions and developer LKA have released a brand new trailer for their upcoming title Martha is Dead. The trailer showcases the game’s eerie atmosphere, stunning photorealistic visuals and famous German actor Udo Kier’s involvement. Many may recognise Kier from a slew of Hollywood films including Blade, Downsizing, and the Rob Zombie version of Halloween. It has been revealed that he will play the role of a German General. The publisher/developer team of Wired Productions and LKA have previously worked together on The Town of Light. Martha is Dead looks to follow in the psychological horror footsteps of their previous offering.

Martha Is Dead Trailer Details

While the trailer reveals very little about what players will actually be doing, it does offer a first look at the actual setting of the game. Set in 1944 Italy, Martha is Dead features stunning visuals that bring to life its surreal environments. We also get to see brief shots of Udo Kier’s character throughout. Founder and director of LKA, Luca Dalco, spoke about the importance of the game’s setting, as well as having Kier onboard.

The setting has always been an incredibly important part of Martha Is Dead. offers Italy in 1944 was a country paralysed by panic and paranoia. With the Germans occupying the north as the Allies liberated the south, loyalties were strained as the nation quite literally split in two.

Udo Kier was a perfect fit for the role of German General and father of the twins. It is a real coup for the team to land him.
