Nintendo is gearing up to release Booster Course Pass Wave 5 for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe next week, and players can expect more courses and characters.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is an expanded and revamped version of Mario Kart 8 from the Wii U. There will be 6 waves of booster packs coming to the game by the end of this year. So far, there have been 4 waves prior to this, and the packs aim to increase the number of tracks available by 48.
What New Maps Are in Booster Course Pass Wave 5?
Booster Course Pass Wave 5 introduces eight new courses and three additional characters to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Here are the new track you can expect from the new Booster Course:
- Cherry Cup (Mario Kart Tour)
- Sunset Wilds (Sunset Wilds)
- Koopa Cape (Mario Kart Wii)
- Vancouver Velocity (Mario Kart Tour)
- Daisy Cruiser (Mario Kart: Double Dash!!)
- Moonview Highway (Mario Kart Wii)
- Athens Dash (Mario Kart Tour)
- Squeaky Clean Sprint
While most of the courses come from other games, Squeaky Clean Sprint is an entirely brand-new map that involves you racing around a bathroom that has a questionable amount of objects in it.
What New Characters Are in Booster Course Pass Wave 5?
The Booster Course Pass Wave 5 introduces three new characters from the Mario Kart series.
Fans who have the Booster Pass can race as Kamek from Mario Kart Tour, Petey Piranha from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, and Wiggler from Mario Kart 7.
These new characters join Birdo, who was previously released in Wave 4. This also means that there are two final spaces left for new characters to join the game in the final wave of new content.
When Does Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 5 Release?
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass Wave 5 will release for Nintendo Switch on July 12th.
Nintendo plans to release eight more courses by the end of 2023, providing fans with a constantly expanding and dynamic racing experience.
