NEOWIZ has offered an extended look into their sought-after Souls-like Lies of P at the Xbox Games Showcase Extended.
During the showcase, NEOWIZ showed high-level gameplay for the upcoming Souls-like game with a Pinocchio setting. A release date and demo were previously shown at Summer Game Fest. However, an extended look at what players can expect in the game was shown.
Lies of P will put players in the role of P, a puppet on his journey to find his master and achieve his goal of becoming human. Along the way, fighting merciless horrors trying to stop P from getting to his destination.
What is Lies of P?
Lies of P is a Souls-like game with heavy influence from the mythos of Pinocchio. The game takes players on a journey as P. A puppet that is looking for his master Geppetto, and must trek across the merciless city of Krat to get to him. The city itself is under siege from deadly puppets and a plague that threatens its citizens.
P will need to utilize all of his abilities and skills acquired throughout his adventure to survive and reunite with Geppetto.
What Did We See In The Lies of P Extended Trailer?
The trailer shows off different gameplay elements such as Weapon Assembly, Fable Arts, P-Organ Upgrades, and much more. It also gives players an extended look at the horrors they will encounter and need to best in order to make P human.
Other features in Lies of P include a tense atmosphere, character customization, and a narrative with choices that affect P becoming more human.
Lies of P Release Date And Price Details
Lies of P releases on September 19, 2023, for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS5/PS4, and Steam.
The Standard Edition is available for US$59.99, with a Deluxe Edition available for US$69.99.
Pre-orders will receive the “Mischievous Puppet’s Set” outfit. The Deluxe Edition includes the “Great Venigni’s Set” outfit as well as three days of early access to the game.
