The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the latest instalment in the popular Zelda series. The game is being praised for its graphics, gameplay, and story. However, some fans have been wondering if Ganon, the series’ recurring villain, will appear in the game.

Ganon or rather, Phantom Ganon, makes an appearance in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

The Phantom Ganon boss fight occurs in the latter part of the campaign, where you’ll face Link’s former rival in a tumultuous and demanding battle. However, that’s not the only appearance Ganon or Ganondorf has in the game.

In The Legend of Zelda, Ganondorf is a mighty sorcerer who seeks to conquer Hyrule and obtain the Triforce, a sacred artifact that grants its possessor any wish. In the opening scenes of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, he is first observed in a mummified state before he escapes and attacks you. This causes harm to your arm, and both Zelda and Ganondorf vanish.

As you advance through the game and approach the inevitable conclusion, Ganondorf emerges as the ultimate adversary. However, in this instance, he is much more powerful than his Phantom form and can prove to be quite challenging to overcome.
