HoYoverse, the company behind Genshin Impact, has announced the highly anticipated Version 1.1 update, Galactic Roaming, for Honkai: Star Rail.
Set to release on June 7, 2023, this update introduces a plethora of engaging events, missions, and gameplay features, along with three unique playable characters. Players will embark on an epic space fantasy RPG journey, delving into the uncharted depths of the universe in the critically acclaimed title.
Explore New Worlds and Unlock Three Playable Characters
With the Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.1 update, Trailblazers can continue their exploration within the Herta Space Station, Jarilo-VI, and Xianzhou Luofu. These awe-inspiring locations offer breathtaking landscapes, diverse cultures, and captivating scenery.
Furthermore, joining the adventure are three fresh playable characters: Silver Wolf, Luocha, and Yukong. Each character brings their own distinct abilities, enriching the immersive gameplay experience.
Silver Wolf Character Details
Silver Wolf, a brilliant hacker belonging to the Stellaron Hunters, possesses unparalleled skills in breaching formidable defence systems. As a Quantum-Type character following the Path of Nihility, she can weaken enemies and enhance her allies’ combat capabilities by applying various debuffs.
In addition, Silver Wolf’s Technique also enables her to inflict damage and reduce enemy defence, while her Ultimate attack delivers devastating blows to enemies, helping the team.
Luocha Character Details
The second new character in Honkai: Star Rail is Luocha, a mysterious wandering merchant, who exudes elegance and charm while perpetually carrying an enigmatic coffin. This Imaginary-Type character, walking the Path of Abundance, possesses extensive medical knowledge and excels in healing.
When an ally is in danger, Luocha’s unique Skill ensures immediate “emergency healing” without depleting any Skill points. Furthermore, his Ultimate ability, “Death Wish,” dispels buffs from all enemies and inflicts Imaginary damage, proving his versatility on the battlefield.
Yukong Character Details
Yukong, the Sky-Faring Helm Master and leader of Xianzhou Luofu, oversees all flight-related matters, including commerce, cargo, and passengers.
As an Imaginary-Type character following the Path of Harmony, Yukong’s skill set revolves around providing support to her companions. Though her frontline battles may be in the past, her battle mindset and instinct remain as sharp as ever.
Honkai: Star Rail New Gameplay Features and Events
Apart from the introduction of new characters, the Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.1 update promises a range of captivating gameplay features and limited-time events.
Trailblazers can participate in the “Starhunt Game” event, aiding Leonard, the network security engineer of Herta Space Station, in uncovering hidden electronic graffiti and unravelling the secrets concealed within the station. Completing this event rewards players with unique graffiti designs that can be applied to in-game surfaces.
Additionally, in the city of Belobog, now free from the Stellaron threat, the History Museum prepares to reopen its doors. Engage in the “Everwinter City Museum Ledger of Curiosities” event, where Trailblazers must tirelessly search for clues, recover lost exhibits, and manage the museum’s operations.
Furthermore, a series of trials will be introduced to Honkai: Star Rail, including “Stellar Flare,” “Garden of Plenty,” and “Lab Assistants in Position.” These trials will challenge players’ combat techniques and strategic thinking, offering generous rewards for successful completion.
Additionally, three new Companion Missions provide an opportunity to delve deeper into the captivating stories of the game’s intriguing characters. Players can look forward to functional enhancements such as friend chat and automatic enemy pinpointing, ensuring a smoother and more immersive gaming experience.

Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.1 is set to launch on June 7, 2023, and will be available on PC, via the website and the Epic Games Store, iOS, and Android platforms. Furthermore, development for the PlayStation version is underway, with more information to be revealed soon.
