It was actually slated to be released on the Switch earlier this year but was unfortunately delayed. However, it looks like the release of Hogwarts Legacy on Nintendo’s nifty handheld is almost upon us. When Is the Hogwarts Legacy Nintendo Switch Release Date?
Hogwarts Legacy is releasing on the Nintendo Switch on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. It will likely launch at midnight local time across the world, as this was the case for both the next-gen and PS4/Xbox One versions released. The release date was confirmed by the developers on both X (formerly Twitter) as well as the Portkey Games Support official website. The Nintendo Switch version of the game was actually delayed by 4 months from July 25, 2023, to the November 14 release date. The reason for the delay was due to polishing issues, with the developers at Avalanche Software requiring more time to finalize the game. It makes sense considering the scale of the game, and the recent gameplay of the Switch version proves that the time was well spent.
