Gangs of Sherwood Release Date Delayed After Player Feedback

Gangs of Sherwood has been delayed following negative feedback from fans during the October Steam Next Fest.

Gangs of Sherwood, the upcoming cooperative action game, has unfortunately been delayed. The developers released a statement regarding the delay, apologizing to fans and explaining why it is being pushed back. You can read all about it below.

Gangs of Sherwood Release Date Delayed

The Gangs of Sherwood release date has been delayed almost an entire month from Thursday, November 2, 2023, to Thursday, November 30, 2023. This comes as a result of negative player feedback during the game’s Steam Next Fest demo last week. The developers, Appeal Studios, cited the time needed to “fine-tune certain aspects and incorporate some improvements requested by the community” as the reason for delaying the game. Dear Players. In light of the abundant feedback gathered from the Gangs of Sherwood demo period during October’s Steam Next Fest, our teams have decided to defer the game’s official release, originally scheduled for 2 November, until 30 November 2023.

This additional time will be used to fine-tune certain aspects and incorporate some improvements requested by the community, giving Robin and his merry men the chance to step up their preperations for their confrontation with the armies of the Sheriff of Nottingham.

Gangs of Sherwood will be available from 30 November on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Gangs of Sherwood Release Date delay announcement

The game will continue to be released on all platforms simultaneously. This includes PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Of course, fans will be disappointed by the news, especially as it was originally due to be released in just a few days. However, taking the time to implement feedback from the fans is the right step if a buggy release is an alternative option.
