Bedtime Digital Games are pleased to announce that Figment 2: Creed Valley, the sequel to their highly-acclaimed first game, will release on March 9, 2023.
Figment, the first game in the series, takes players on a surreal journey through a unique universe, complete with music, humour, and a complex storyline. Dusty and his ever-optimistic friend, Piper, lead the adventure through different areas of The Mind, endeavouring to regain lost courage. Figment was released in 2017 and has since sold over 1 million copies on PC and consoles. Furthermore, the game currently sits at 86% (very positive) on Steam, and 77/100 on Metacritic.
In celebration of the game’s launch on March 9th, Bedtime Digital Games has announced that the first game, Figment, is absolutely free for a limited time on Steam to keep. You can learn more about that here.
What is Figment 2?
Figment 2: Creed Valley presents players with musical battles against Nightmares, uncovering why they have appeared in The Mind. Players must avoid and maneuver around taunting bosses, utilising The Mind’s ever-changing rhythm and opinions to restore peace.
The option of local co-op gameplay is available on all platforms, with players controlling Dusty’s companion, Piper the bird, recognising that no one should face their fears alone. The game will also launch in seventeen localised languages. Plus, Figment 2, is a standalone experience. Therefore, you don’t need to play the first game to enjoy it.
