Veteran indie publisher PQube and developer Stone Lantern Games have announced that their critically acclaimed puzzle-platformer, Evergate, has released on PlayStation 5.
Evergate released digitally back on August 18th, 2020. Upon releasing it garnered rave reviews from both Steam users and critics. Over on Steam it currently sits at 100% positive reviews. Nintendo Life gave the game a 9/10 and GameSpot awarded it the same score. While the game has done well critically on both the Nintendo Switch and Steam, developer Stone Lantern Games has decided to release Evergate on the PlayStation 5. As well as this, physical versions for both the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 will be released.
What Is Evergate?
Evergate is a precision puzzle-platformer all about a spirit named Ki. When an otherworldly Storm sweeps Ki’s world, she finds herself having to save the very cycle of life. Ki must explore her past lives to find the key to stop the Storm. Evergate includes seven unique and hand-drawn levels for the player to explore. Here is some of what you can expect in Evergate:

Release Date & Price
Evergate is out now on PlayStation 5 in both physical and digital form. It is also available digitally for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Steam. It costs £8.99 for the digital version. There is a 20% discount for PS+ members until the 16th of July. You can also pick it up physically for £29.99. A Limited Edition version featuring a “Ki-ring” is available, although exclusive to the Funstock Store.
