Does Peter Parker Die in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2?
No, Peter Parker does not die in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. He survives the final battle with Venom and Harry and finally settles down with MJ. However, while he doesn’t die, he does give up being Spider-Man and passes on the mantle to Miles Morales.
This might not be the end of Peter Parker’s Spider-Man, but it certainly seems like he will take a back seat to Miles Morales and potentially Cindy Moon’s Spider-People in the next game. Peter Parker is now trying to rebuild the Emily May Foundation (EMF) that he and Harry tried to start during the events of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
This may come across as bad news to fans of Yuri Lowenthal’s Spider-Man, who was introduced in the first Marvel’s Spider-Man game all the way back in 2018. However, it’ll give Miles and newcomer Cindy Moon (who was introduced in the post-credits) a chance to shine.
Does Miles Morales Die in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2?
No, Miles Morales does not die in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. He helps Peter defeat Venom during the climactic final fight before bringing Harry back from the dead with his powers. During the post-credits, Peter tells Miles that he’s taking a break from being Spider-Man, and it’s up to Miles to look after New York.
We also see Miles meet Cindy Moon, also known as Silk, who will likely become a protagonist during the events of Marvel’s Spider-Man 3. Fortunately for fans of Miles Morales, it looks like he’s sticking around for a lot longer.
