Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles Is Coming To The West
Based on the Japanese anime box office hit, the upcoming video game Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba): The Hinokami Chronicles will be coming to the West this October.
Fans of the hit Japanese anime series, Demon Slayer, will be pleased to know that Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles is finally coming to the West. Developed by CyberConnect2 and published by SEGA, the title will allow players to relive the memorable moments of “Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc” and “Mugen Train Arc”. The developers have previously worked onDragon Ball Z: Kakarot, the .hack games, the Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm titles and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Eyes of Heaven. So, when it comes to video game adaptations of popular anime, CyberConnect2 definitely know what they’re doing.
What is Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles
As previously mentioned, it will take place during the Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc and Mugen Train Arc from the anime. For those less familiar with the anime, essentially the story will take place during the Taisho period in Japan. It follows the show’s protagonist, Tanjiro who loses his family to a demon. Oh, and his sister also turns into a demon. So, that’s fun.
Tanjiro decides to become a demon slayer to seek revenge for his family and to return his sister to her human form.
