Cult of the Lamb’s Kickstarter campaign for their graphic novel, The First Verse, has obliterated its Kickstarter goal in just six minutes.
If you don’t love Cult of the Lamb, you simply haven’t played it. It continues to gain popularity within the gaming community, and this is just the latest in cultish fanfare the game has seen. Even after being fully funded, the First Verse’s Kickstarter Campaign shows no signs of slowing down.
Cult of the Lamb: The First Verse, an All-New Graphic Novel
Cult of the Lamb: The First Verse allows fans to witness the coming of Lamb’s first flock anew with this limited-time Oni Premium Direct campaign through a four-issue comic book series in one deluxe, 112-page collection. With ten reward tier options, you’ll be spoilt for choice with the digital copy, soft cover, card-stock variants, or hardcover edition all still available.
The great minds at Devolver Digital have teamed up with ONI Press to bring fans this Cult of the Lamb graphic novel through a Kickstarter campaign with a goal of AU$ 10,000. Not only did they break this goal in minutes, but the total is skyrocketing, and at the time of writing, it is approaching AU$ 400,000.
Cult of the Lamb: The First Verse Kickstarter Stretch Goals
As this number continues to climb, the community unlocks rewards through the eight forbidden stretch goals. With four of these stretch goals being hit so far, some of the rewards include Cult of the Lamb-themed enamel pins, stickers, T-shirts, bonus DRM-free digital editions for all physical orders, and hardcover upgrades. The next stretch goal to come has been revealed as 8×10″ cardstock art prints from artist Billy Fowler as a bonus to all physical orders.
Keen-eyed fans will note that the last stretch goal is not hidden like the rest.
