Call of Duty: MW3 Zombies: How to Complete Outlast Contract

Outlast Contracts in MW3 Zombies are deceptively simple to complete. Here’s everything you need to know about them.

Call of Duty: MW3 Zombies has a number of unique Contracts, essentially short missions, for players to complete. While they mostly boil down to killing unique zombies or activating a device, some can be a little complicated to figure out. That seems to be the case with the Outlast Contract, which has some players stumped. Fortunately, we’re here to help. Below, we explain how to complete Outlast Contracts as well as locate them in MW3 Zombies.

How to Complete the Outlast Contract in MW3 Zombies

To complete an Outlast Contract in MW3 Zombies, you need to first locate one and then activate the PND. Once that’s done, you simply need to remain near the PND, inside the area filled with purple crystals, until the progress bar has filled. Zombies will spawn as you defend the point, and you’ll need to hold them off until you’ve completed the Contract. The difficulty of zombies will depend on which tier zone you’re in, but for the most part, you’ll be fighting regular zombies and hellhounds.

If you go outside of this zone, the progress bar will start to go down, and if it reaches zero, you fail the Contract. However, returning back to the PND will continue your progress. So, you can leave the PND zone briefly to farm the spawning zombies before heading back in without risking failing the Contract entirely.

Of course, it’s recommended that you complete the Outlast Contracts in the tier-1 zones to make it easier. However, even then, you should consider bringing friends along to help, as the swarms of zombies can get overwhelming. If you do tackle an Outlast Contract in the tier-2 or tier-3 zone, then be prepared for a challenge.

How to Find Outlast Contracts in MW3 Zombies

You can find Outlast Contracts on your Tac Map in MW3 Zombies by looking for the blue walkie-talkie icon with a satellite dish in it. They appear randomly in all three zones alongside the other Contract types. After you’ve started the Contract, the PND will be marked on your map. You just need to head over to it and activate it to start the mission.
