As Driftboards are classed as a vehicle, they will spawn in these areas in the open, as opposed to inside of Chests or as ground loot. As soon as you spot one, you will be able to just hop on and glide off into the distance.

How to Use the Driftboard in Fortnite

You use the Driftboard as you would any vehicle in Fortnite, as it is technically classed as one. You move it with the directional keys or joystick and can even jump on it by pressing A/X/B/Space Bar. Additionally, there is a Boost feature that lets you go at incredibly high speeds for a short period of time, as well as the ability to do tricks like on a Bike.

However, it is worth noting that you will be incredibly vulnerable while on the Driftboard. You can use weapons while on it, so there is the option to shoot back at anyone targeting you. That’s everything you need to know about the Hoverboards/Driftboards in Fortnite. For more guides, be sure to check out our Games Hub.
