After an initial delay, World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is set to launch on November 23 at 3 pm PST. Announced via Twitter, Blizzard used the original delay to work on bugs and endgame content.
The Executive Producer of World of Warcraft, John Hight, said: “We’ve used the time to further polish the expansion and shore up the endgame, including overhauling the combat and rewards in The Maw, and reworking the Covenant systems to make your choice more immediately impactful and have clearer long-term goals.”
Blizzard’s announcement also addressed other important dates on the horizon: The pre-launch event will begin on November 10 where players can take on the scourge and spread a plague to other players.
On December 8, the first raid, Castle Nathria, will be released. This raid will send players to Sire Denathrius’ lair in Revendreth where players will encounter 10 different bosses in order to get the best loot in Shadowlands. This will also kickstart the first season of Shadowlands.
The World of Warcraft: Shadowlands pre-patch is out now and there are a lot of new systems and changes. Most notably the new leveling squish, and character customizations. You check out all the changes in the pre-patch here.
