Win Money on Castle Kong, Coming to Switch this February!

Ever thought you were better than your friends at Donkey Kong? No one could get near your score? Well, now you can put it to the test. Drowning Monkey Games announced that Castle Kong, inspired by the classic Donkey Kong, is coming to Nintendo Switch on February 25.

Castle Kong pays homage to the classic Nintendo arcade game, Donkey Kong, recreating the same looks, retro graphical world, and stages. The game is designed to mimic Donkey Kong, including the vital ingredient: Difficulty. Your goal is to hit the coveted 1,000,000 points, but you will die countless times.

How You Can Earn Money!

A Castle Kong high-score tournament begins on the same day as the Nintendo Switch launch day: February 26, 2021, @ 2 am GMT and runs until May 26, 2021. The players with the best scores set after launch day will win prizes, and the first person to the kill screen will also be awarded. There is a list of the prizes below:

  • First to the kill screen: $5000
  • Highest Score (Can’t be the same person as “First to the kill screen”): $1250
  • 2nd Place: $750
  • 3rd Place: $500
  • 4-5th Place: $250
  • 6-10th Place: $100

There is also an extensive list of regularly updated rules and regulations. You must adhere to all of the rules to be eligible to receive any of the cash prizes. You can check out all the rules on the Drowning Monkey Games website.

Castle Kong will be released on Nintendo Switch for US$6.99 / £5.99 on February 26. The prize money tournament also starts that day and will end on May 26, 2021.
