Gamious and Whitethorn Games announce their stunning interactive story game, Lake, is out now on Game Pass for Xbox and PC.
In Lake, you are transported back in time to September 1, 1986, and take control of Meredith Weiss, who returns from the big city to her quiet hometown; switching jobs in the process. During her two week stint as a local mail carrier, Meredith runs into a few familiar faces from the past as well as plenty of new folk. As Meredith, you decide who to talk to, befriend and even start a romantic relationship with. You can also decide the ending; will you stay in the small town or return to the big city?
Lake took our hearts by storm this year. We stated it was one of the most immersive experiences we have ever had in a video game. With gorgeous visuals, great character development and an engaging narrative, Lake should definitely be on your Christmas list. You can check out our review here.
Lake is now available on Xbox One and PC via Game Pass and is also available on Steam. It is also set to release later on other platforms beyond Xbox and PC in the future.
