Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story 2

Publisher PQube and developer Agate have announced that the JRPG-school-simulator Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story 2 will be launching into Steam Early Access this Summer.

Launched back in October of 2018, Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story was a school-management game with RPG elements. Players would have to construct and manage their academy, all while nurturing their students and watching them flourish. They could also take part in battles and excursions to various dungeons. Today, PQube and Agate have announced that the game’s sequel will be launching into Early Access and will be bigger and better in every way. According to its Steam store page, Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story 2 is planned to remain in Early Access for 12 months. Its more significant updates will drop “every 8 weeks” with smaller updates being “scattered in-between”.

What Is Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story 2?

Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story 2 is a direct sequel to the first game and is set to expand on the various mechanics featured in it. Players will become the principal of a “hero academy” with the goal of running it efficiently. The developers want players to experience the bittersweet feeling of seeing their students grow and mature before eventually leaving the school. Alongside the management aspect, players will be able to engage in turn-based combat and tactical puzzles. There is currently 10 hours of playable content, including the opening act of the story and a few dungeons. Here’s what you can expect when it launches this Summer:
