Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer’s Legacy Gets Final Early Access Update
Developer Ludomotion and publisher Big Sugar have released the final Early Access update for roguelite RPG, Unexplored 2.
Entering Early Access in mid-2021, Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer’s Legacy sends players on a journey molded by their choices. As a result, a stunning procedurally-generated adventure awaits, as you tackle magical beasts and deadly puzzles to save the world. The sixth update, Marang Machines, introduces heaps of new content, gameplay changes, and bug fixes. This will be the last update before the game exits Early Access.
Though death means the end of the Wayfarer, a new hero will come to take up the mantle should you choose. This legacy system lets you experience the repercussions of your predecessor’s actions, as you journey to your ultimate goal. As a result, you can continue your quest in a world that has changed due to your past actions. However, should you fall during the final mission to destroy the Staff of Yendor, the current world will be lost.
This update brings ancient machines into the fold, which can alter the state of the world. This can make your goals easier or fast-track you to the end game, which always puts your world at risk.
Along with what’s stated above, Unexplored 2 has received new and improved:
Customizable World Settings
Destinations Including: Mountain Top Temple, Lake-bed Temple, Way Shrine, Hidden Tower, Forest Shrine
Regional Characteristics: biting cold, predators, drought, burning sun, and more
