The Sims Team has announced their upcoming kit for The Sims 4, the Modern Menswear Kit. Set to release on December 2, 2021, the kit is a collaboration with UK based designer, Stefan Cooke, and as the name suggests, focuses on masculine fashion.
The Sims has always been known as a series where self-expression is encouraged. So partnering with Stefan Cooke, whose brand “transcends things like gender”, players will be able to push their creativity further. The kit contains 23 pieces of new menswear which are based on real-world Cooke collections and includes jackets, pants, skirts, and shoes. These new in-game pieces will range all across the gender spectrum and give players more clothing options for their male sims.
This isn’t the first time that The Sims 4 has featured a real-world designer. In 2020, they partnered with makeup brand, MAC, for in-game makeup options. They also collaborated with Moschino for the Moschino Stuff pack. Most recently, they launched their “Off the Grid” campaign which saw Gucci partner with the iconic franchise.
The Modern Menswear kit will release on December 2 on PC, Mac, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X and requires The Sims 4 base game to play.
